We offer a range of classes from 18 months+
Little Wings Dance classes are a great introduction to the world of dance in a fun way.
We have classes in Plymouth, Devon & Salisbury area, Wiltshire.
Baby Ballet (18 mths+)
From the moment they’re steady on their legs, your little one can join our Baby Ballet class.
Grownups actively participate with their ballerinas.
We provide an environment where ballerinas and their grownup share dance, songs, rhythms, movements, instruments and magical props. Children are absorbing the music and rhythms in their own way.

Toddler Ballet (2.5yrs-3.5yrs)
​A magical class filled with props and music to capture your little ones imagination whilst, at the same time, fostering a love of dance.
Toddler ballet we are on the move: jumping, wiggling, singing and laughing.
Even though the emphasis is on having fun, there is lots of learning going on!
Children are developing language and number skills, confidence and self-expression.

Preschool Ballet (3.5yrs-5yrs)
Now the basics of ballet have been instilled, your little one is ready to spread their wings and dance alone.
Classes incorporate all the basic movement skills such as skipping, marching and jumping. Colours, counting, dancing in partners, alone or in a group are fundamental parts of the class.
Preschool classes are a perfect balance between structure and creativity.

Preliminary Ballet (4yrs-6yrs/Reception & Yr 1)
Lessons continue to focus on developing ballet technique as new steps are introduced to challenge and extend the knowledge and capabilities of our young dancers.
Striking a perfect balance between structure and fun, our lessons continues to share the world of ballet using correct ballet terminology while dancing like butterflies and fairies!

Primary Ballet (6yrs-8yrs)
Ballerinas will progress through a set of warm up exercises before starting their barre work. One of the components our ballerinas will love is learning ballet steps at the barre. This is a very traditional part of ballet and essential as we move to a more disciplined study of the craft. Your ballerina will learn all correct French terminology as we develop fundamental ballet technique.

Level 1 & 2 Ballet (8yrs +)

This class builds the foundation for ballet technique.
Children learn set ballet exercises and sequences, developing co-ordination and memory skills, whilst continuing to use their imagination and creativity through movement and music.

Tiny Tap (2yrs-5yrs)
This introductory tap class will give your little one a chance to make music with his/her feet!
We'll cover the very beginner basics exploring rhythm & beats and fitting them to the music by using simple props and various styles of music.

Preliminary Tap(4yrs-6yrs/Reception & Yr 1)
Children develop their sense of rhythm, and start to learn the skills and vocabulary they need for tap.
​
We use upbeat, exciting music to help inspire the children and increase their musical awareness.
​
Tap offers a more relaxed atmosphere to Ballet and helps to develop a strong sense of rhythm and musical understanding.

Primary Tap (6yrs-8yrs)

Children start to understand the importance of precision in tap dance, especially regarding musical timing and will begin to put two or more movements together.

Level 1 & 2 Tap (8yrs+)

This class will teach your child the fundamentals of rhythm and tap technique.
Your child will learn a multitude of set tap steps, along with understanding rhythms and counts in music and tap dance performance.
A great class to work your child physically and mentally.

Acrobatics (4yrs+)

Our experienced acro instructor will guide the class towards increased flexibility, balance, strength, muscle control, discipline and concentration.
This class will focus on fundamental acrobatic technique, teaching such skills as handstands, chin stands, elbow stands, cartwheels, back bends, walkovers, ariels, balance and contortion tricks.

Lyrical (4yrs+)

Lyrical combines both ballet & jazz styles. It allows more freedom & release than ballet and has a much softer approach than jazz. It develops artistic qualities & musicality in dancers by focusing on breath, control & floor work.
It is a wonderful way to connect with our emotions & allows us to perform.
